Why you should praise Dr. Manmohan Singh

There has been lot of electoral fuss going on recently and quite rightly so. India is electing its leader. Technically, In a democratic country like India, the prime minister is the chief of the government elected by the people, chief advisor to the president, head of the council of ministers and leader of the majority party in parliament. Our country has seen as many as 13 prime minister after independence and the tendency of the people to relate the functioning of the prime minister to the country's fortunes is quite extensive.

People hail PMs like Indira Gandhi, P V Narsimha Rao for their sheer adherence to some of the decisions the have taken. This very nature of the people to look for a particularly flamboyant person is what the results show in recently concluded elections. But have we recognized the person who reticently but  willfully served our nation with selflessness? Have we paid enough tribute to the man showed the world about the greatest economy turn around and its reforms?
