Do you know which star is the closest to the earth, When I was student my teacher asked the question to me and at that time my answer was sun, and the answer my teacher expected form me was "Proxima Centauri" but i surprised  him by saying it is the sun. But yes it is granted. But the next closest star to the earth was "Proxima Centauri" . It is approximately about 4.2 light years from the earth. Do you know what about ancient called the 'Proxima Centauri' is "Mitr" (Meaning- the friend) , is that's a coincidence? that they named the closest star as 'Mitr'. It also  shows that they know the difference between planets and stars. Here is the Modern value of speed of light 186,282.397 miles/sec. Now just look after to this 'Shloka'. One 'Nimisha' is the amount of time need to blink your eyes and 1 'Yojana' is around 8-9 miles. this particular 'Shloka' that you see here is actually the formula to calcul

Why do we visit Temples?

Image
Think India and thought that comes to mind are pictures of majestic temples of the land. These temples were not just immensely beautiful architectural wonders.   They were also places of immense spiritual strength. Scientific analysis has today proven that these temples  were built over areas of maximum positive energy. (Emanates Positive Energy). The 'Moolasthana' or 'Garbhagriha' was built at the spot where energy was maximum. The idol was placed and the 'Garbhagriha' built around it. This point indicated the place of maximum positive energy. Placed below the idols were copper plates with vedic inscription capable of absorbing and radiating energy. When a person visited a temple and walked around the 'parikarama' they came within the radius of this magnetic field thereby imbibing a lot of positive energy. The result was that the visit to the temple rejuvenated his body, mind and soul. (Rejuvenates entire human being). Many time thoughts comes to me

Dr. Kalam used to receive costly gifts whenever he went abroad as it is customary for many nations to give gifts to the visiting Head of state. Refusing the gift would become an insult to the nation and an embarrassment for India. So, he received them and on his return, Dr Kalam asked the gifts to b e photographed and then cataloged and handed over to the archives. Afterwards, he never looked at them. He did not take even a pencil from the gifts received when he left Rashtrapathi Bhavan. In 2002, the year Dr. Kalam took over, the Ramadan month came in July-August. It was regular pract

Translation: 'I start my worship ringing the bell praying that the divine may enter me and all demonic forces within and without depart'. Traditional Indian worship always started with the ringing of the bell. The temple bell was beautifully crafted object made of an amalgam (combination of sound of several metals including Zinc, copper, bronze, cadmium and many other alloys) . When the bell was rung there was a resonation which created an immediate harmony between the right and left lobes of the brain. The echo lasted for 7 seconds touching the seven chakras of the body.
